The past few weeks have been a whirl wind of crazy.
There really is no other way to put it when life just gets turned upside down and everything you've gotten used to calling life changes. For several years I've been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Crohn's Disease knowing that both of these things are lifelong conditions that will take getting used to, and I do more or less make it work most of the time, Second Life being a favorite escape and place of joy for me. A few weeks back I had a major health scare though and it's going to be a long road to recovery physically and emotionally which has meant canceling Live shows in SL for the time being (though I'll be back singing live as soon as I can) and working around the fact that I just need to do stuff! I can't watch more Netflix or I'll die of boredom.
Music and Travel is absolutely gonna keep happening for Seli, though not the way I have been for a while. Travel Blogging and Vlogging on Youtube is going to be my go to, as well as FLM and utilizing all the recorded songs I have to make Second Life Music Videos for Seli. So for any Selinites missing the live shows there will still be content and music with Seli coming your way weekly!
The first Music Video is up if you want to check it out, this week is my cover of Sarah McLachlans Angel.
Right before the shit hit the proverbial fan though I went on one of THE best Secondlife vacations ever and I just wanted to share some of that with you all.
Bora Bora
This is the second time I go on a vacation by Asha Rhia and just like the trip to Kenya she never disappoints!

When I had done all my last minute shopping and pixel packing (aka prepared a few outfits for the beach etc) we were teleported to the airport.

This time around started at the airport and from there we went on a boat ride to the Bora Bora retreat, and the locatoin was gorgeous! The attention to detail and quality always amazes me. Welcome drinks Checkin and all.

One of the things I really love about these specific trips is the schedule and events they put on as well as the imersive experience the staff helps provide.

Once we had been shown to our cozy bungalo hovering over the azure blue waters we made our way through the lush vegetation to the spa for a group session of Tai Chi. The staff led the workout and I have to say, it may be only virtual but after I truly did feel relaxed, it was very well done.

Expoloring the sim and raiding the bar was a favorite pass time when nobody else was around.

Finding lots of little places to just chill and relax any which way.

Smoothies up at the lounge after Tai Chi was a great refresher

Followed by underwater turtle racing that was an absolute hit once we managed to figure out how to steer the turtles and swim
There was also skysurfing and paddle boats and so much more watery fun, but the vacay wouldnt have been complete without a little Polynesian dancing

And though the staff looked amazing we did
have a bit of a struggle getting into our grass skirts properly but once we did things were shakin that hadn't shok in years.
After all of the activities and excitment we settled in for Dinner, well for us it was dinner time wise for everyone else it was lunch. So it was Lunch and Karaoke served by the staff and it was so much fun.

This was I think the last time I picked up the Uke or Guitar before the rl hospital rush and everything that followed. But as far as vacations go this was exactly what I needed and I am so blessed to have had the chance to go.

Goodbye for now Bora Bora! can't wait for the next destination vacation!

Another great blog Bora Bora looks awesome. Sorry you’ve had so many health problems. I hope you’re on the road to recovery for those issues that you can. The YouTube post is great. What a wonderful song to sing! Hope to see you in SL very soon. ❤️
