Saturday at Wootstock!

There is a certain vibe and feel that gets me when I see flower power hippie vans and tie dye.
Ever since I was a kid I wished and dreamed of living in the 60's and 70's and running away to live a life of peace, love and boho bliss. So needless to say, this time of year I am all about Woodstock tributes. This is the second summer in a row that I have had the honor of playing at the (in my humble opinion) best one of these in all of SL and that my good people is Wootstock. There are so many sub cultures in Second Life, and one that speaks to my heart directly is the Tiny community.
Raglan Shire and it's pint sized inhabitants manifest everything that is right with this second life and Wootstock is a celebration of it all LOVE...WAFFLES and GOOD MUSIC.
Starting in the mid of winter 2008 Wootstock has been going strong ever since though switching to the more expected summer festivals giving us one weekend of kickass tunes and happenings a year. But there is always stuff going on at Raglan Shire, be it festivals art walks or Jousting and riverdance. If you want to check the place out for yourself hop on over at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Raglan%20Shire/173/110/41
Or read up on Raglan at https://secondlife.fandom.com/wiki/Raglan_Shire
With the extrordinary variety of avatar choices within the community it's impossible to name them all. But I am biased in that when I go tiny nowadays I'm a Dinkie and I love it, Uni-kitty power!
And my absolute favorite place when it comes to shopping is the Dinkie Boutique by Lycia Quintessa. There's a level of detail, quality and amazing sense of fashion that just makes me go nuts whenever I pop on over inworld. If you do want to check her place out this is the place to go http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ekaterina/212/161/749

So in conclusion to this weekends tiny adventures the tiny communoty in Second Life is one of the best and most creative ones there is and though they be but little they be fierce as in fiercly awesome!
Sunday Brunch with the Family

With the majority of my mind stuck on waffles from the previous nights festivities at Wootstock the natural thing to do was invite the family over for brunch.

It's not always easy to get everyone to be able to get together but when we do it's always a blast.

Getting everyone to stay focused however is even harder. Next week we will be installing a safe to lock away Mayzas phone.

And naturally we needed an extra table
for the smaller family members who wouldn't have been able to reach the waffles and other yummys since I was low on booster seats. Shout out to Shad our super sausage squirrel who built a tiny picnic table.
Hope you guys have had an amazing weekend as well. Stay safe and take care of eachother.
xoxo

What an amazing family you guys have. You must be very proud! ❤️
Great blogs Seli. I totally agree the Wootstock is probably the best music fest of the year. It’s not just about the music. Events like this bring so many of our community together, some who are rarely seen in SL these days. For me that’s really special to catch up with them. A reall pleasure is too see so many Biggies come and visit, many of them converting to Tinies, Dinkies or Titchies for the weekend. One of us....ONE OF US!!!
